HEAT FUSION JOINING INSTRUCTION TO ASSIST DISTRIBUTION COMPANIES
Many of our company posts contain educational information for the entire plastic pipe industry. This post focuses more narrowly on the vitally important distributors of plastic pipe to illustrate the role that our fusion joining team can play in creating value by assisting sales growth and educating the contractor community on joining best practices. Our central focus is to emphasize the critical importance of proper joining procedures in creating durable plastic piping system. While fusion joining of thermoplastic pipe is not difficult, it must follow correct steps executed with skill.
An appropriate introduction to those procedures can be included within an event hosted at any distributor facility and organized as a “Customer Recognition Day” or “Contractors Day”. These events can focus on either attracting new customers or generating new orders from existing customers or both simultaneously. Whatever the focus, the intent is to eliminate difficulties for your customers in building better infrastructure with the help of our team of highly skilled instructors. We offer entry level training for a few hours to a full day depending on your direction and bringing those attending into greater understanding of the fusion processes outlined in ASTM F2620. If your focus is on polypropylene piping, we can also offer instruction on joining of this promising new product.
Proper fusion of thermoplastic pipe is not hard but it is serious business. We also have Certified Instructors who can return to your location and offer a certified training course combing 30% classroom time, a written exam and significant hands-on experience. Upon successful completion of all requirements, the operator will receive certification and an Operator Qualification card valid for 2 years which is universally accepted as demonstration of competency as a joining operator.
Our motto is “Our only product is a satisfied client”. Learn more about Bryan Hauger Consulting’s plastic pipe expertise and our team for training in plastic pipe fusion.
