Pipefusion Celebrates 40-Year Anniversary
In early June, Ontario based Pipefusion celebrated their 40-year anniversary. Jan Nyquist founded the company In 1982 after falling in love with the polyethylene pipe industry at an early job. Since its founding, the company has expanded from just pipe fusion to creating its own line of floating docks and pontoons, approved by Transport Canada. This expansion has been a boon for Pipefusion as their line NyDock line of floating docks has dealers across Canada. In a celebration marking the milestone, the mayor of Huntsville, Karin Terzaino thanked Nyquist for the work he has done and cited that local floating dock and trail products would have been impossible without the help of Pipefusion. Jan has mentioned that the company continues to grow and that he has no intention of retiring in the near future, joking “The only thing worse than death is retirement.”
